Ok, last week my best friend’s mom died, and she wanted her ashes to be spread on a forest which is 4 hours away from Guadalajara (the city where we live) and a beach  which is 8 hours away from that forest and 4 hour away from here. As we have to work from Monday to Saturday we only had one Sunday to do the trip.

So we took my car, a VW Beettle, and started our trip, we made a 19 hour road trip, we crossed 5 states, 5 different climatic areas (forest, jungle, beach and desert), we stoped at a lake and in a virgin beach, it was all beautiful, the sunset at the beach was the best view.

The bad thing is that a 19 hour trip on a car (or plane) tends to forms blood-clots in the main joints, specially the legs, that can travel and be a potential danger to the brain (Stroke) or the heart (a Myocardial Infarction), I took some aspirin before the trip that helps reduce the formation of Clots, but I have that little feeling of a clot threating my brain….
